Dugong, endangered!!!!

So I was surfing the web and I found this guy. I thought he was so cute so I figured that I would share with you guys! 

The dugong is a cousin of the manatee and is closely related to the elephant, which is really cool and weird at the same time! The dugong is unique because it has a split tail like a whale and will “perch” underwater on its tail in order to keep its head above water. The dugong is thought to have inspired ancient myths about mermaids. The dugong is threatened by poachers who hunt them for their meat, oil, skin and bones. It is extremely endangered :(
